Welcome to my Website!

I am a banjo luthier of two very specific styles: "old time "and "classic ". Following the exquisite style of the manufacturers of the turn of the 20th century, I make two styles of banjo.

"Classic" or finger style which was mainly played in the United States and the British Isles between 1870 and 1920. Requiring either gut or synthetic strings, the instrument is lighter, meeting the specific needs of this style of music while respecting the technology of the time, but apart from the wood, using modern materials.

The "Old Time" style has its origins in America. It requires a banjo with a thicker neck and pot. It essentially uses steel strings or more tightly strung nylons. The modern builds of these old time banjos are therefore also suited to this style of playing

Have a look through my site and compare the different models. Please feel free to contact me. I'd be happy to respond to any questions that you may have.

Enjoy!
